One week from today, I turn 28. Last year, at 27, I put together a 30 Before 30 List…a list of 30 things I wanted to accomplish before turning 30. If you haven’t noticed, lists are kind of my thing.

I have a magazine obsession. It’s actually kind of a problem. Over the course of this year, though, I’ve cut my subscriptions down from 10 to 4. That’s major progress! (Although, it’s kind of cheating because my mother-in-law and I swap all of our magazines regularly.) How many subscriptions do you have?
Tomorrow marks 7 weeks since my last day at my old job. It’s been quite an adventure, but suffice it to say…I don’t miss it. Here’s an update!
The good stuff…
Business is great! And that’s not even a humble brag…I’m just flat out saying it. But, I’ve truly been humbled by the faith that new clients have put in me. I’m SO thrilled to be working with such a wide variety of clients that truly push me to be better. I’ve even taken on a few political campaigns which has been really fun!
Happy October! After a very busy summer, I’m so relieved to see that our fall has us slowing down and spending more time at home. I’m looking forward to cozying up in our comfy bed and finally getting around to those coffee table books that I’ve been longing to flip through. Bring on the pumpkins!
I have now read listened to #GIRLBOSS twice and the second time was even better than the first. Sophia’s story is inspiring…there are so many nuggets of wisdom in this book, and I would totally recommend it to anyone, especially someone trying to start a new business or take the next step in their career. But for the most part, nothing in there is revolutionary. Except for this one little thing.
I didn’t plan to have a post for today, but I stumbled upon this quote as I was searching for a first-day-of-fall photo for Instagram this morning and felt compelled to share it with you.
