Thrifting Lately – 10.3.16

Wow! How did that week go by so quickly? The a was a little neglected last week, but I’m kicking off this week with round up of my favorite thrifting finds lately.

In case you’re new around here, I have an Etsy shop and love to hunt for fun and beautiful vintage pieces. A while back, I shared my best tips for vintage shopping, and also a few secrets to help you with haggling.

Who would have thought that Jewel could offer so much insight?! The first time I heard this song I was in the Chapel of Transfiguration in Moose, WY and it brought tears to my eyes. How To Prioritize a Big Renovation

Back in February, I spoke at the Downtown Raleigh Home Show about our massive historic restoration. It was a great experience for me to get better at public speaking, and share some of what I had learned. Plus, it fell right in line with my word of the year: fearless!

I’ve been meaning to share about that experience, but it just kept getting pushed to the back burner. So when Personal Capital contacted me about sharing more about how we prioritized our to do list and our budget, I figured it was the perfect time to share more.
