About the blog…
702 Park Project was created in February 2013 as a way to chronicle the restoration of our 1902 American Foursquare in North Carolina. You can read about how it came to be ours here. Since then, the blog has developed into so much more than that. It has become my voice and my therapy.
Some days I’ll share updates on the house, and other days I’ll just share things that I like, things that inspire me, or just things I want to get off my chest.
About me…
I’m a non-profit accountant by day and blogger/shop owner/content manager by night. (The two sides of my brain are always fighting!) I’m wife to a wonderful man, Charles, and mom to a sweet pup named Sullivan, or “Sully Pig.” I am very close with my family and can’t imagine life without them. Fall is my favorite season, because football, pumpkins, boots, scarves, and my birthday all make an appearance. I lived in 5 cities within 3 years before finally settling here. I love all things gold and brass. I love to shop…probably a little too much. I need (yes, need) something sweet after every meal, even if it’s just a Hershey kiss!
I’m highly sarcastic, I love cards and snail mail, I have a very classic style, in both home and fashion, and I believe that champagne can fix just about any problem.
Thanks for stopping by!
