I am thrilled to be a part of a pretty fabulous series hosted by Lauren Nicole Designs called Seasonal ‘Scapes Blog Challenge. Lauren has rounded up some pretty fantastic bloggers to share glimpses into their seasonal homes, whether it’s a table ‘scape, mantel ‘scape, coffee table ‘scape, or vanity ‘scape.
Today we’re sharing our Christmas ‘scapes, so I just had to share my favorite mantel. We have 8 mantels in our house, but only 4 actually get decorated for the holidays. Eventually I’d love to decorate each and every one, but just doing the downstairs mantels is enough to keep me busy these days!
If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I love love love gold. So of course my pink living room is filled with gold and glitter during the holiday season. I added a few new things that I didn’t include last year, like the gold bow on the wreath, the garland on the mantel, and the ornaments. I know that sometimes more is less, but in my house, I generally go the “more is more” route, and Christmas is definitely no exception!
Have you finished your Christmas decorating? We are almost there. Come back soon and I’ll be sharing more peeks into our holiday decor!
To help you get into the Christmas spirit, Lauren and her team are giving away a festive Graybill & Downs candle! These candles are so luxurious and make amazing gifts for the holidays…or just about any time! These candles (valued at $45) have a 65 hour burn time and the holiday candles come wrapped in gorgeous wrapping paper. There are two holiday scents right now: White Pine and Orange Spice, Juniper and Fir.
The winner will by selected by following all of us on Instagram and sharing your holiday ‘scape by using the hashtag #seasonalscapechallenge. The challenge starts today at noon and the winner will be announced Friday at 8 am.
