I have had a lot on my mind this week, and I felt like one quote just wasn’t enough.  So I picked two! :)

Whether you’re building a house, building a relationship, building a career, or whatever else, the best things really are worth the wait.  I don’t really buy into the idea that “good things come to those who wait.”  I’m more of a “good things come to those who hustle” kind of girl.  But there’s a difference between sitting back and waiting for things to happen to you, and waiting for the work you are doing to be complete.  And I just know that the extra months, the extra money, the extra stress, and the extra tears will all be worth it when we have a gorgeous home full of love in the end.

It’s easy to get wrapped up in everything going wrong (or at least not going right as planned) in your life.  It’s also easy to be so busy planning the future that you forget to enjoy the now.  I love this article on eliminating the “I’ll be happy when…” mindset.  The truth is that I have so many more blessings right now than I could have ever dreamed of.  From now on, I will make a conscious effort to choose joy, each and every day.
