Friendly Features Vol. 5 – The Vinson House

To say that I have some very talented family and friends would be an understatement. It seems that all of my friends have a knack for something painting, drawing, designing, decorating, cooking, baking. So what do you do when you’re a blogger and you have such brilliant friends? You blog about it, of course!

Today I wanted to share a few photos from one of my all-time favorite houses that just happens to be a couple of blocks down from us. You’ve probably seen this house on my Instagram feed, as I walk by it often when taking Sully for his walk. The historic Vinson house was built in 1910 and has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

The wrap around porch, with the haint blue ceiling and the abundance of plants, is such an inviting introduction to the house.

And, just as you would imagine, the inside is exquisite! The grandfather clock in the hallway has been in the family for generations. The traditional style and antique furniture fits in perfectly.

Told you it was gorgeous! Thank you, Ms. Vinson, for letting me share your beautiful home!

And if you enjoyed this tour, you’ll want to check out the Paul Borden House that’s currently for sale. (Price just reduced!) The 1920 craftsman bungalow is a blank slate inside and just waiting for someone to come and complete the job!
