Man it’s been crazy around here! Here’s a look at what’s been going on through the lens of my iPhone.

After sitting in a box for over a year, we finally got our new back porch light fixture hung. Doesn’t it look great?!

My mom came for a spa day and we enjoyed having lunch at this charming shop downtown.

My new favorite wine glasses, from Swoozies.

You can see who is clearly at the center of our universe (and who likes to snuggle). It’s obnoxious. He even has his own Instagram account now. #diva

And he has lots of friends. Getting some snuggles in with Helen, and hitting the farmers market with his pal Cletus.

My dad was asked by a friend to DJ his daughter’s wedding, so I decided to help out. It was a first for both of us, but really fun! (Oh and by the way…I used to babysit the bride. I feel so old.)

Back in June, we traveled down to Georgia for a wedding. The ceremony and reception were both at The Cotton Warehouse and it was a gorgeous setting.

We’ve been doing a bit of yard work, and had a very generous friend give us some sod he had left over. We tried it out in a few areas in the yard, and it’s looking great! Also, these faux bushes and topiaries at Carolina Pottery were calling my name.

My summer salad go-to: spinach, strawberries, honey roasted almonds, feta, and balsamic vinaigrette. Delish!

In June, we said goodbye to the house I grew up in. After 23 years, it was a tough goodbye. But on to better things!

I love living in the south, where getting 3 thank you notes in one day isn’t all that rare.

I designed some basic note pads to help promote my business. I’m so happy with how they turned out! And let me just say…I loooove my job. Because I get to do things like coordinate photo shoots with adorable kids and therapy dogs.

This palm clutch is my favorite!

My brother’s cat had kittens and they are about the cutest things ever. They sleep in a pile of adorableness.
