We’ve been doing a lot of work on the front and back yard this spring. It’s come a long way from looking like this! There’s still plenty to do, but lately I’ve just had one thing on my mind.
Our landscaping has grown up a bit, but now I’m ready to add some large potted plants out front. I’ve been eyeing some urns and planters, but it’s really hard to find ones that are actually made of stone, not plastic.
In my search for stone planters and urns I came across a few favorites that range from traditional to modern. What’s your favorite style?
I played around with a few different looks for the front porch. I think I have a favorite, but I’d love to know what you think. Take a look!
Which is your favorite look? Let me know in the comments below!
Nice choices! I’m digging the topiary urns as they are a bit posh, eye-catching and size appropriate for that part of the porch. The cedar spiral urns look neat but would probably have to be bigger (around 4 feet high) to look appropriate to the size of the porch and flank the door instead for balance. :)

Thanks for the input, Draven! The topiary urns are my favorite too. :)
I think the topiary urns are my favorite. Your house looks beautiful! What an incredible story. Can not wait to see what you decide.

Thanks so much, Paige! I love the topiaries too! :)
My preference is the wild grass urns
There are a lot of cool ways to improve your curb appeal! When it comes to painting your front door, there are a million colors to choose from but only one real option for the finish. Semigloss paint gives you a smoother surface than lower-sheen finishes and has a degree of shine, providing a visual contrast :)
Going green is always good! One of the most popular (and most impactful) ways to boost curb appeal is to add some fresh greenery and flowers :) Nice idea!
