Happy Memorial Day! Although we technically have 3 more weeks of spring, today symbolizes the unofficial kickoff of summer. Are you ready?

I am thrilled to be a part of a pretty fabulous series hosted by Lauren Nicole Designs called Seasonal ‘Scapes Blog Challenge. Nowhere in our house screams summer as much as our back porch does. Last year, I did an overhaul on our two-story porch for the One Room Challenge. (It started out looking like this!)

The summer ‘scape I’m sharing is the coffee table on our upstairs porch, which is right off our master bathroom. I actually made this table out of an old window from the church we were married in, so it’s extra special to me.

This time of year, the upstairs porch is so nice. We installed a fan that helps with air flow, and you can catch a nice breeze being so high up. It’s a great spot to be extra southern and have sweet tea in the afternoon.
