A few weeks ago, I hosted a girls’ night painting party with Zoe’s Kitchen and Wine & Design. It was so fun! Zoe’s has been one of my favorite restaurants ever since we lived in Raleigh almost 6 years ago. The food is always fresh, and the light Mediterranean cuisine is different than so many of the options we have. Plus, Zoe’s let’s you eat guilt-free while still being satisfied.
Take a look at some shots from the party!
Zoe’s Kitchen sent over a party pack made just for Girls Night. It included an assortment of pita sandwiches (turkey, chicken, and Mediterranean tuna), orzo salad, fruit, hummus, pimento cheese, pita bread, and limeade.
To top it all off, TomKat Studio supplied fun little extras to style the party, like the “Celebrate” tags, the striped runner, place cards, and even little thank you cards. It was all adorable! (By the way, I’m completely obsessed with TomKat Studio now and want ten of everything, especially this cake topper.)
Zoe’s provided their famous limeade, which goes perfectly with tequila! (Skinny margarita, anyone?!) I added some raspberry lemonade, tequila, vodka, champagne, and a little fruit and had the girls make their own drinks. I’ve found that less is more when it comes to entertaining…no need for beer, wine, 18 different kinds of liquor, and 27 mixers. Keep it simple. And by not doing pre-mixed drinks, my non-drinking friends were able to enjoy also!
After Zoe’s contacted me to throw a guilt-free girls’ night in, I decided that painting (with drinks, of course) was the way to go. So I cleared out my foyer and set up two folding tables right in the middle of the floor. I covered each table with white plastic tablecloths from the dollar store, and then rolled out black and white stripe wrapping paper on top. (By the way, you can do that for just about any theme…and TJ Maxx usually has rolls for $2.99 each!) And last, I laid out gold paper placemats at each seat and added flowers in the middle of the tables. The rest was all from Wine & Design.
I had a pink and gold tassel garland left over from this shower, but I just wasn’t crazy about hanging it, so I decided to fill in the mantel with the tassels instead. It served as a fun filler for the fairly empty mantel.
These girls are so much fun, and we definitely had a few artists in the crowd! Who’s do you like best?
Zoe’s has lots of catering options, from pre-made party packs (Game Day Goodies, Shower Sensations, and Kids Party Pack) to orders right off the menu. If you’re interested in hosting your own Girls Night, or just want to see more party inspiration, check out the packages here.
Do you ever do a themed girls’ night? What’s the best one you’ve put on or attended?
Girls’ Night and this post were sponsored by Zoe’s Kitchen. As always, all photos and opinions are my own.
