Good morning and happy Monday! As you know, I will be speaking at the Downtown Raleigh Home Show in less than 2 weeks (eeek!!). Now that I’ve been booked, I need your help. Can you answer this question?
What do you want to know? What would you most like to hear about? Do you have specific questions? Do you want to hear about our house restoration? Our next plans? My favorite DIYs? Blogging? Even if you aren’t attending, I’d still love to hear from you.
Let’s get a discussion going in the comments below, and I’ll try to answer as many questions as possible, either in my presentation or later on the blog. Let’s hear it!

I would like to know: with such a big task at hand when you guys got the house, how did you know where to start and who to get involved in making all the restorations? It seem like such an overwhelming task. Did you make a list of most important things first or were there things that had to be dealt with right away? Thanks…..it is soooo beautiful now
I have such a hard time committing to a buying decision. Sometimes I think I pass up good things because I’m afraid they are only mediocre. Then when I see others use those items to decorate, I think, “Gosh, I should’ve went for it.” How do you decide when to buy and when to pass.
How long do you wait before changing something?! For example, when you DIY and you don’t like it, or it didn’t turn out as great as you wanted, how long do you wait to admit it? I have a hard time letting go…
