My favorite combo is aqua and orange.

I painted our living room orange/pumpkin about 2 years ago. Everyone thought I was crazy – especially one of my sons. He could not believe how good it looked when he came home for a visit. Between 2 picture windows, a staircase, fireplace, built-in bookcase, etc. there is really not a lot of wall space but I still love it. I have a lot of blues in the room and also 2 chairs that are striped with pinks, blues, etc. I am so happy I did it.

The orange is definitely a statement color, what a great way to accentuate a specific spot in a room. Love these examples!
