When I told my husband, my family, and anyone else who would listen that I was painting our dining room purple, they thought I was crazy. Well I’m glad I didn’t listen, because I absolutely LOVE it, and I’ve gotten more compliments on this room color than any other room in the house!
As much as I love the paint color, at times the room can just feel a little flat. I’ve known that I wanted to eventually do wallpaper in the dining room all along, but as you can image, buying and installing wallpaper for a room this size with 11′ ceilings can be pretty expensive. Emerge Byzantium is by far my favorite! It’s the closest to our current purple, but adds just enough texture to not be boring. Which is your favorite?

I love your pick, very, very nice!!! I hate wallpaper personally but love it in other peoples homes…go figure…maybe it’s just b/c I don’t have a design sense????…..your home is gorgeous and think your pick would look fabbbulous ????
I agree with your pick! The others seem a little too generic because they aren’t purple “enough.” I think the paper will give the walls a much richer feel and look. I was wondering from Instagram why you were looking at green fabric, but now that I see the inspiration pictures I get it. Bold choice, but I think it will look great!
Yes, your pick is my favorite too and the green draperies will be perfection. The green tile on the fireplace right now is a little jarring but with the green window coverings everything will come together perfectly. I was so afraid you would not keep the purple but I should have had more faith in you. I can’t believe how far you guys have come with this daunting project.
