Last night I hosted the annual Junior Woman’s Club ornament exchange. It’s always such a fun event, so this time I decided to do a hot cocoa bar. It was a hit! But best of all, it was SO easy!
(Please excuse my iPhone pics! We were having too much fun to break out the legit camera!)
I picked up a few of these mini chalkboard easels a while back and I have gotten so much use out of them, like the design house and girls’ night. A little tip I’ve learned: always use chalk pens. They write so much better than regular chalk, and they don’t rub off right away.
I learned that you can buy hot chocolate in bulk, so I stocked up and made a batch in the crock pot. This was great for keeping the drinks warm all night!
Next, add your favorite toppings! I did milk chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, peppermint pieces, Andes mints, and marshmallows. You could also add in peppermint sticks, cinnamon sticks, chocolate syrup, caramel syrup, whipped cream…the list goes on!
Wasn’t that easy?! And if you’re looking for some cute, free printables, here are a few I found:
Happy Hump Day, friends! Only 16 days until Christmas!
