For whatever reason, I’ve been having a real mid century modern moment lately. There’s just something about those funky lines that is really doing it for me. Unfortunately, the style of our house doesn’t really lend itself to this style of furniture, so I’ve just been doing some Craigslist window shopping.
I’ve found a few great places around the Raleigh area that have a good selection of MCM furniture. The first is in Garner and has a fun assortment of mid century office furniture. (Click on photo for link.)
The next seller I found is located in Graham, about 50 miles west of Raleigh and sells a wider selection, including bedroom suits, credenzas, buffets, and record consoles. (Click on photo for link.)
Next, I stumbled upon some vibrant photos from a seller in the Cary/Raleigh area. I kind of want to just go hang out on that fabulous couch in this sunny space! (Click on photo for link.)
Seriously, I could go on for days. Here are just a few more random mid century pieces I found around Raleigh. (Click on photo for link.)
What furniture style are you crushing on these days? I can definitely feel a series coming on!
Crushing on mid-century too – wanting a light fixture for my breakfast room. My house also doesn’t lend itself to the furniture, but think I could sneak a fixture in with no problem! Happy Wednesday, Sarah!

OMGEEEEEE! I could totally see your Grandma Charlotte on that green sofa. Wait! Have I seen her on that sofa?
Love that first desk
All this stuff is so cute!! I love finding things like this and dreaming about how to make them over – though most of it is pretty enough to keep as is!

Mid century doesn’t work at all in my house, BUT I love seeing it in other people’s homes. I almost wish it did work for me because there is a ton of it on Craigslist here! Maybe I need to a total home makeover….

You should choose office furniture that complements your brand or “personality”. Your office furniture should, if possible, reflect your company’s identity and culture.
