A few weeks ago, I headed to Charleston for the Southern Blog Society Conference. This was my first blog conference, and it has left me wanting more!
The Swoozie’s cocktail party was a great icebreaker, and I was relieved to find that I wasn’t the only first-timer there. The next morning, all attendees met at The Charleston Grill for breakfast, and then headed over to the main event at The Riviera. And let me just tell you…having your event’s name on The Riviera’s brightly lit sign on King Street is pretty exciting!
To try to cover everything I learned on Saturday would make this post about twelve times longer, so I’ll save that for part 3 of my recap next week. (Stay tuned, you won’t want to miss this one!) I’ll also be sharing where we stayed, ate, and played in Charleston next week too!
Anyway…After hearing some truly insightful speakers, we were released into the sea of brands! Having never done this before, I was totally overwhelmed. These brands want to work with me?! And they want to give me a lot of free stuff?! Well ok, if you insist.
In case you’re wondering, here’s a list of the fabulous brands that were in attendance:
Vera Bradley
Kendra Scott
Lilly Pulitzer
My Kind of Lovely
KIND Snacks
Pinrose
Moon & Lola
Hallmark
St. Ives
Physician’s Formula

OMG! That had to be so exciting. I hope you hooked up with a lot of them. Sponsored posts don’t bother me a bit. Um, hello! Lilly Pulitzer? Oh, yeah, I can get behind that. I’m 78 and refuse to act my age.
