The Sunday Currently, #23

Happy Sunday friends! We made some major progress on the house this week, and I can’t wait to show you all the updates!!

Currently:

Reading– This article on FOMO.  I have to admit, I’m pretty guilty sometimes.  Are you?

Writing– Another guest post for a fabulous blog.  I can’t wait to share with you what a few other bloggers and I have been up to! Coming soon…

Thinking– How awesome all of you are for your sweet comments in the survey I posted last week.  I’ve been shocked by the number of people that have participated, so thank you!!  There’s still a few days to fill it out if you haven’t already!  Just click here.

Hoping– To get a new cell phone soon.  My sad little iPhone 4 (that’s right, no S) has about had it.

Wearing– I guess I’m not technically wearing it, but I’m loving my new Tory wallet that I picked up for a steal at the private sale last week. I feel pretty good about keeping my old Coach wallet for almost 4 years.  It was time.

Loving– This Instagram account of an adorable little girl and her dog.  Seriously. I can’t even.

Needing– Baskets to fit in our makeshift pantry.  Until we fully renovate the kitchen, we’ve decided to repurpose an old (and free!) Expedit shelf into a place to store our food items.  I love the Branas and Knipsa baskets made to fit the unit, and they are definitely a good price, but because we don’t live near an Ikea, we’d have to pay a small fortune for shipping.  Any suggestions?

Feeling– Lucky! I’ve won 7 blog giveaways in the last 6 months. It’s uncanny. (And no I’m not constantly entering giveaways…maybe 1 each week.) I never win anything, but all of a sudden I hit a lucky streak.  Maybe I should start playing the lottery…

Clicking– These thoughts you always have when watching House Hunters.  They’re so true!

  1. If you know someone who lives near an Ikea they could get them for you and ship them (gasp) Greyhound. I had friends who lived far from everything and that’s what they did. Said Greyhound was the lowest cost shipping ever. Of course you will probably have to hire a bodyguard to go the Greyhound station to pick up your packages. Just trying to help…

    1. Thanks for the tip, Maralyn! I’ve never heard of shipping via Greyhound–I’ll have to look into that! :)
