I’ve had porch lights on my mind lately.  We’ve still got plenty of time to decide, but it’s those fun details that I love thinking about!  Right now, our porch light is boring, small, dirty, and not at all our taste.

Hubs and I both agree that we want a statement piece, and not a fixture that will just fade into the background.  We really want it to stand out and represent our style…sort of like these porch lights do:

I have to admit, I kind of dig the idea of doing a chandelier that would tie in with the one that you see right when you walk in the front door.  But I think we may start with something a little “tamer.”  Baby steps.  Here are a few (okay, 6!) I’ve had my eye on.

As you can see, I have a wide variety of tastes when it comes to porch lights!  But, as I learned at a very young age, first impressions are the most important…and our home should be no different!
