Fall Favorites from Target

Have y’all looked at Target lately? They are totally killing it! We’ve been on a spending diet lately to get rid of credit card debt, and it’s basically been torture every time I’ve been in there. I don’t think the temptation is worth the 50 cents I’m saving on milk. I digress.

Charles and I are hosting Thanksgiving at our house for the first time this year, and I am SO excited. We both have very small families, but we are planning to have about 12. It will be the first actual sit down meal we served for that many people, and I can’t wait!

Fall Seasonal ‘Scape + A Giveaway

I am thrilled to be a part of a pretty fabulous series hosted by Lauren Nicole Designs called Seasonal ‘Scapes Blog Challenge. Lauren has rounded up some pretty fantastic bloggers to share glimpses into their seasonal homes, whether it’s a table ‘scape, mantel ‘scape, coffee table ‘scape, or vanity ‘scape.

I have a confession to make. As much as I love fall, it’s been hard for me to get into it this year. It’s just been so hot. Last week it was still 85 degrees and super humid here, so pumpkins and mums just haven’t felt natural. Instead, I poured my seasonal decorating energy into making our dining room an ultra chic black and gold Halloween space!

The Ceilings of Biltmore

Wow! It’s been a week! And it’s only Wednesday. I’ve been having technical difficulties over here, but I think I’ve just about got the kinks worked out. Thanks for sticking around!

Last week I told y’all about our recent visit to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville. I mentioned that, while beautiful, the estate tour was pretty crowded, which made good photos pretty much impossible. So instead, I decided to point the camera iPhone up.
