I can’t believe that baby Charlie’s due date is just 3 days away! I feel like this pregnancy has really flown by, and I can’t wait to meet our little bundle of joy!

Along the way, I’ve shared a bit of our nursery progress, and we’re just about finished. This room originally started out as my home office, but we moved my office to this room so that Charlie could be close to us upstairs.

Luckily we didn’t have to paint, but we did decide to install a closet since this room really didn’t have one. It was a big investment, but one I know adds value to the house and will get a lot of use for years to come. Other than that, it was mainly just touching up paint and trim, fixing a bit of tile work on the fireplace, and decorating.

So what’s left? Mainly, just getting a few things on the walls. We’re going to have newborn photos of Charlie at around 10 days old, so I plan to hang one or two of those prints above the mantel. But mostly, all this room really needs is a baby!
